Sexual Assault and Violence Education by Students
If you would like to get involved and help VCU become a safer campus, apply to become a members of SAVES (Sexual Assault and Violence Education by Students) at VCU.
The mission of SAVES at VCU is to assist in prevention and offer support to those affected by sexual violence, intimate partner violence, sexual harassment, and stalking. We do this through promoting awareness, hosting educational events, and advocating for and with survivors.
SAVES also works closely with other student organizations to mobilize and advocate on safety issues that matter to students.
SAVES offers a myriad of opportunities to get involved in creating a safer campus environment – from assisting with public relations tasks to delivering presentations to various student groups, from participating on the student survivor advisory committee to focusing on masculine-of-center issues related to the antiviolence movement.
